Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of material on Prowers County Court Docket. Using the site means accepting the terms below. Anyone who does not agree should discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. Prowers County Court Docket is privately operated and has no affiliation with a Colorado court or government body. This site and its advertising partners do not provide consumer reports or services for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The resource only helps readers locate public docket and case-record channels. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent of all courts and public offices. It does not keep official records, retrieve case files, submit documents, or alter hearing settings.

Its function is to identify where Prowers County court information is maintained, including the Combined Court clerk, municipal clerks, the Judicial Branch docket, CoCourts, and third-party research tools.

2. Informational Use Only

All content is general reference material. It cannot replace an official Register of Action, signed order, filed document, or advice from counsel. Confirm any material fact with the Prowers County Combined Court clerk or the municipal court that holds the file.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the service in violation of federal, Colorado, or local law
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or target another person with information found here
  • Rely on the content for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools
  • Disrupt performance or prevent another visitor from using the site

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Neither this site nor its partners create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Prowers County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Information here or reached through a linked tool must not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A report for a regulated purpose must be obtained from a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

No statement here is legal advice. General descriptions of Prowers County dockets cannot determine how a charge, order, deadline, or rule applies to a specific matter. A licensed Colorado attorney can provide that advice.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

All material is supplied "as is," without a promise that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Court data changes as filings arrive, settings move, and cases are amended, sealed, or closed. Gaps and delays can occur. Only the originating clerk or court can confirm a current Prowers County docket entry or hearing date.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External links lead to courts, clerks, public portals, legal resources, and search providers that we do not operate. Their availability, data, prices, privacy practices, and terms remain their responsibility. Review those terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Prowers County Court Docket or its content partners. Copying, adapting, distributing, or building upon that work requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the broadest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on information reached through it.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, actions, and related costs, including legal fees, caused by your use of the service or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Colorado law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Colorado. Access to Colorado court case files is governed by Chief Justice Directive 05-01; the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§ 24-72-200.1 et seq., generally applies to government records but does not replace the court-record directive.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms may be posted at any time and take effect upon publication on this page.
